Chelsea Shipping Corporation was incorporated on July 17, 2006 under SEC Registration No. 200628661 with registered address at Stella Hizon Reyes Road, Bo. Pampanga, Lanang, Davao City and office address at Penthouse-B, The Valero Tower, 122 Valero St., Salcedo Village, Makati City. Its commercial operations began in January 2007, operating out of the ports of La Union, Pangasinan, Subic Bay, Bataan, Manila, Batangas, Cebu and Davao.

It aims to provide safe and reliable point-to-point transport of oil, fuel and other liquid cargo all around the Philippines.

Currently, it manages a fleet of 15 vessels to transport petroleum products. It owns seven (7) oil tankers, the M/T Chelsea Denise, M/T Chelsea Enterprise, M/T Chelsea Intrepid and M/T Chelsea Excellence, M/T Chelsea Integrity, M/T Chelsea Passion, including a brand new 6,000 MT HULL CYC – 108 Oil Tanker (with total cost of US $15 million) named M/T Chelsea Cherylyn for delivery in May 2009.

Its major clients are Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., Cebu Pacific Air, PTT Philippines, Marine Fuels, Total Bulk Corporation for Philippine Airlines and Air Philippines.

In February 2008, the Company purchased 100% shareholding in Bunkers Manila Inc (BMI). The company is engaged in international bunkering and shipping. It has a fleet of two vessels, M/T BMI Patricia and M/T BMI Angelita.

In September 2008, the Company assumed the responsibility in ship management of Michael Inc. It has a fleet of seven tankers, namely, M/Tkr Ernesto Uno, M/Tkr Jasaan, M/Tkr Alexia, M/Tkr St. Augustine, M/Tkr Oil Carrier, SSS 57-G and M/Tkr Argina.
